Privacy Policy

The short version

Webpo publishes curated websites — that's it. The only personal data we ever ask for is your email, and we only use it to send you helpful design resources and occasional updates about the gallery. We don't sell your data, we don't rent it, and we don't use it to build profiles.

What we collect

We only collect what you actively give us:

• Email address — when you subscribe from the homepage so we can send you helpful resources, or when you submit a website through the Submit form so we can let you know whether it made it into the gallery.
• Submission details — when you submit a site (your name, the website link, and the optional owner / Twitter info you provide).

We do not ask for your address, phone number, payment information, or any other personal data. There is no account to create.

How we use your email

Two purposes, and only these:

• To send you helpful resources — design picks, breakdowns, occasional reading we think you'd like.
• To respond to your submission — confirming we received it, asking follow-up questions if we need them, and letting you know once a decision has been made.

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes your address from our list — it doesn't affect anything else.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your email or any other data.
• We don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We don't run third-party tracking scripts to follow you around the web.
• We don't try to identify you across other sites or build a behavioral profile.

Submissions

When you submit a website through our Submit form, we store the details you send so our curator team can review the site. If your submission is added to the gallery, we publish only what is already public about the site (its URL, screenshot, the category, and the visible owner credit). We do not publish your email address or any other private detail from the submission.

Cookies and analytics

We keep this minimal. We use only the cookies our hosting and infrastructure require to keep the site working, and lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics that count page views in aggregate — no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking. If we ever add more, this page will be updated and the change will be visible in the "Last updated" date at the top.

Storage and security

The email list and submission data are stored on Google Firebase (Firestore). Firebase is a standard, well-audited platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to the Webpo team's admin account.

Your rights

You can email us at any time to:

• Ask what information we have about you.
• Have your email or submission deleted from our records.
• Unsubscribe from emails (also one-click from any email).

Send any of these requests to the contact address below; we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Webpo is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

Updates to this policy

If anything in this policy changes — what we collect, how we use it, who we use to store it — we'll update this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For meaningful changes that affect existing subscribers, we'll also send a note to the email list.
